Philip Pullman T-shirt

The 'His Dark Materials' trilogy may be my most-re-read books— Pullman's skill at world-building, story-telling, and allegory is unique. (The less said about 'The Book of Dust' the better, but I still adore the classics). As a child I loved imagining what my daemon would be, thinking about what must have happened in history in Lyra's world to cause the subtle differences in terminology and technology, and contemplating what in children could be so threatening to adults. As an adult, I am moved by the wavering line between Lyra's independence and loneliness, challenged by the quantum physics of it all, and delighted by Pullman's informed cynicism.

The idea for this design popped into my head when I finished The Rose Field (again, you do not want my review...) thinking about how I could print Dust.
