During the holiday season, due to increased order volume, please allow up to two weeks from the purchase date for your order to ship.


What size should I order / what brand shirts do you use?

Due to supply chain weirdness, different colors and sizes of shirts are different brands. However, I make sure the states specs are the same across the board. Here's a size chart for all unisex t-shirts! Measurements are in inches.

How long will it take my order to ship?

Items will not be shipped until payment is received in full. Orders may be edited or cancelled only before the item ships.

Because Bread & Water is a small operation, we only make shipments once or twice a week. Most orders will ship on or before the Friday following the order, but be aware that some orders may take up to two weeks to ship. Anything with a longer wait time than that will be sold as a presale. 

The default shipping option is first-class USPS, but I am happy to upgrade for a corresponding fee– please message me ahead of time. Please note that any expedited shipping services only affect the time in transit, not how long it takes me to ship your order. if you are on a very tight schedule, please email me in advance to make sure your order will arrive in time.


I live in Pittsburgh, can I pick my order up?

Because I don't keep regular studio hours, I don't offer local pickup as an option. Local bike delivery is available for specific Pittsburgh-area zip codes approximately March - November; if your zip code is eligible it will show up as an option at checkout. Please do not opt for local delivery if a key or code is required to reach your mailbox– if I cannot easily access your mailbox, you will be invoiced for shipping costs. Also, just as a courtesy, please consider how bike-friendly the route to your house is, and if it seems unreasonable choose shipping!


My order has been sitting in USPS purgatory for weeks, can you find it?

Sadly, they do not give secret tracking information to sellers; we have the same tracking number that you do. Due to increased volume, the USPS is experiencing serious delays, so I am not able to guarantee delivery dates at this time. I am also not in a position to retrieve or locate your package. If you need help tracking down a package, you will have the best luck speaking in person with someone at your delivering post office.

If your order has the status “label created” for over a week but has not been scanned at a post office, please email me with your order number.


My order tracking says my order was delivered but I don't have it, what can I do?

First off, you will have the best luck tracking down your package by going in person to your delivering post office. They will be able to see the GPS location of the last tracking scan, and help you proceed accordingly.

At checkout, you may opt to purchase Route protection. This acts as a shipping and delivery insurance which will cover your order in the case of damage, loss, or theft. This coverage is optional, but starting with orders placed February 8, 2022, only orders with Route coverage are eligible for refund or replacement. Claims must be filed between 5 and 15 days after delivery scan.

You are solely responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. I have no control over whether you have cleared your cookies after moving, so please double check! I can change an address before an order ships, but cannot change shipping information after an order is processed. 

I am not responsible for damage that may occur during shipping, including but not limited to stolen or misdelivered packages. I am not responsible for orders returned as undeliverable or for customs taxes added to international orders. Please be familiar with your country’s customs tax before ordering, I do not prepay VAT or other customs fees.


What is your return policy?

Returns accepted and refunds issued within 14 days of delivery only if the item is not as described. Returns must be authorized via email. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Everything in the shop is hand-printed, meaning there may be some minor variations in each print. Refunds for the price of the item only will be given for major printing errors, with photo evidence.  In the case of incorrect items received, please contact me to correct.

I am sometimes able to do exchanges for the same design in another size as long as the item is unworn and unwashed. This option is not available for limited run (including shorts, bras, bodysuits, and undies), last chance, fundraiser, or sale items.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping.


Do you ship to the UK / EU?

Yes, but be aware that your package may be subject to VAT charges. 

Please be familiar with your country’s customs tax before ordering, I do not prepay VAT or other customs fees.


 I don't see ________ [item] / ________ is sold out, can I still order it?

Everything that is available for purchase is listed on the website. If an item doesn't come up in the shop or a search, it is currently unavailable. If a product is sold out but will be restocked, you can sign up to be notified by email when it returns. At this time I am not accepting custom reprint requests.


I have a great idea for a shirt, can you make it?

While I take customer requests into account when planning my releases, I don’t usually take fully formed suggestions. I accept custom design and printing jobs on a limited basis; customs are closed until January 2023.


I ordered a preorder item with other items, why haven't the non-preorder items shipped yet?

Orders including preorder items ship when the preorder item is ready. If you would like the other parts of your order sooner, please place separate orders.
